Did I mention I'm pregnant?

I'm officially past my first trimester now. 13 weeks along and feeling great! I'm not sure why I felt so nervous to announce it to the internet world - I guess because it seemed so difficult to take back if it didn't work out. But so far everything is looking healthy for both of us, and I'm finally feeling comfortable letting you in on it.

Rhett and I are so so SO excited about this new development and can't wait for baby to get here! December 9th is the official due date.


Also, at my 11-week ultrasound, we were greeted by an unexpected surprise...

IT'S A BOY!!! We certainly didn't expect to find out so early, but the shots were very clear and the little guy was perfectly positioned.

    I am so excited for you! I have known (thanks to our blabber mouth relatives) for weeks and I am so happy that the news is official! I can't believe you and Nate are having babies so close together. It will work out so perfect to have the cousins be the same age.

    Hooray!! So excited for both of you and can't believe you know you're having a boy already!! Takes the fun out the excruciating wait until 16+ weeks, but whatever :) Yeah for pregnancy!!!

    I've been anxiously awaiting this post as well. I need your number, been wanting to call with congrats for awhile now. So happy for you both! Parenthood is the greatest journey!     I am so excited for you guys!!! It is so fun to plan for your first baby and you are going to love having a boy. I hope you haven't been too sick, and if you have hopefully it has passed by now. We had Abby in late November and it was so fun to have a brand new baby at Christmas.....you can't ask for a better gift!
